Go Green at Garden’s by the Bay

Being a city in a garden, Singapore has maintained a balance between nature and its massive modern infrastructures. Just behind the iconic Marina Bay Sands, this project that is worth over $1 billion is an enormous landscaped park, with different outdoor gardens and 2 conservatories. Visiting the outdoor gardens is free, you need to buy a ticket to visit the conservatories.

Start your trip from Bay Front MRT Station and walk towards the entrance of the park. Follow the walking paths going around. Take your time and make sure to witness the glowing and dancing lights of the Super Trees at night.

 

Shop til you drop at Orchard Road

Singapore is a shopper’s paradise. The presence of popular luxury brands in every corner of the city proves this. Orchard road is Singapore’s answer to London‘s Oxford street. The whole strip is for shopping. For all purchases over $100 in a single receipt, most shops offer a 7% GST refund. During Christmas season which usually starts at the end of November, Orchard road turns into a festive of lights. Be Adventurous in Sentosa Island

Sentosa is a favorite playground for Singapore residents and tourists alike. Visit Universal Studios Singapore and experience their incredible rides such as: The Mummy, Transformers and the recently reopened battle Star Galactica. For a perfect sunny day, you can check out the beautiful manmade Siloso beach, Palawan beach or Tanjong beach.
